As Foster Care Fortnight 2026 comes to an end, it’s definitely been a busy 2-weeks with the team out and about all over Sandwell, including events at Sandwell Aquatics Centre, Midlands Metropolitan University Hospital, Asda Tipton, Stone Cross Library and Lightwoods House.
For the first time, we had a digital billboard on the approach to Junction 1 of the M5, by West Bromwich Albion and a new JC Decaux poster campaign all over Sandwell using the Foster Care Fortnight campaign slogan ‘This Is Fostering’.
Throughout the fortnight the team posted daily messages on social media which has included videos and quotes from staff and foster carers.
Foster Care Fortnight finishes on Sunday, but our campaign doesn’t. We still need foster carers and as many as possible. If you see one of our posts on social media please ‘like/share’ and ‘follow’ to help us spread the word. Not everyone may be able to foster but everyone can play a part.
