We are delighted to share that our Smethwick & Oldbury Locality Team has achieved national recognition at this year’s LGC Awards, securing the Silver Award for Large Team of the Year at the ceremony held in London on Wednesday.
This is a great achievement, especially in such a highly competitive category with over 50 entries and only 7 teams shortlisted nationally. It is a strong reflection of the sustained progress, innovation and commitment across the locality, and the difference the team makes for children and families.
The judges recognised the team’s impressive transformation, strong engagement with families, and the energy and creativity demonstrated in both their work and their presentation to the national panel. They particularly highlighted the team’s willingness to share learning and support improvement across the wider sector.
This achievement belongs to the whole Trust, it reflects the collective effort, values and practice we continue to build together.
