As a Trust, we are members of the West Midlands Teaching Partnership (WMTP) and on Tuesday last week, members of our Social Work Academy attended the annual WMTP Practice Education Conference at Aston University.
Colleagues are involved with the assessment, support and oversight of SW apprentices and SW students from different routes into social work. The conference provided opportunity for networking and information exchange.
The Trust Academy delivered a workshop related to Diversity and Social Graces, which was well attended and well received, and highlighted the forward-thinking approach taking place across the Trust. It also helps put Sandwell on the map as a leader of inclusive and innovative practice.
